The Banshee 2

(Continued from previous story… The Banshee)
I recently got a new dog. No dog could compare to Friday but, I needed to move on. I saw the Banshee again but this time in person. I was more afraid that it would be my fault that the new dog... (Thursday) would die and meet Friday. I didn't know how to react but this is what happened.
I was walking across my uncle’s farm in the suburbs, and it was raining and foggy. So foggy you couldn't see where you were going. Thursday was with me. I walked west of the farm to try to reach the house. It was hard. I couldn't see the house and I felt as if I was walking farther away. I was getting frustrated with the fact that I couldn't figure out how to reach the house.
As I walked more southward I realized that the fog was getting thicker and the cobblestone path that once guided me to the house was disappearing. Thursday starting barking towards a light I had not seen before. As I got closer I saw the same lady from my nightmare, about a year ago. I panicked but, I felt frozen still. All I could think was "not again".
Crows began to come towards me. I ran as fast as I could, but I felt as if I was running in circles. The lady kept coming towards me. She was too fast for me, until I finally gave up. She repeated the word "Friday" as if she was a broken record. I began to press my hands firmly against my ears. " STOP IT!!! STOP IT!!! STOP IT!!!" I kept repeating.
I closed my eyes tightly and everything seemed to stop. I opened my eyes to see Thursday beside me whimpering and the fog gone. My uncle’s house was in front of me and the cobblestone path was under my feet again. I wondered for a while if it was just my imagination. But all of a sudden my mind moved to a different thinking state - Mom.
What had happened to Mom?? She disappeared years ago after a fog storm hit. "Would the same thing happen to me?" I thought. I don't know what caused me to think about my mother, but I felt like this had to do with my Mom in someway.
I’m now writing this story under a tree with Thursday. Hopefully I'll figure this out soon.
